These are the questions boiler service owners ask most often before working with us. If your question isn't here, call, text or email; a senior strategist will answer it directly. The short answers above are expanded below where a bit more context helps.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Boiler.Management cost?
Managed plans are $2,998, $4,498 or $8,998 a month, and websites are $3,500, $6,500 or $12,500 one-time with a monthly hosting fee. Prices are in Canadian dollars; boiler-plan clients add GST/HST for their province (GST and QST in Quebec).
Do we have to sign a long contract?
No. There is no lock-in. You receive written terms after the free review and decide from there.
How long before we see booked tune-ups?
Reminder programs usually send their first batch three to five weeks after we start. A plan launch takes six to eight weeks. Campaign timing depends on your season, so plan about six weeks ahead of the window you want to fill.
We tried an agency before and it didn't work. Why would this be different?
Most agencies measure clicks and impressions. We measure booked visits, plan sign-ups and renewals, and we show you those numbers every month. If they don't move, we change the plan or tell you honestly that something else is the constraint.
Who owns the website, ad accounts and customer list?
You do. Accounts are set up in your company's name, and we work as invited users. If you leave, you keep everything.
Can you send reminders to all our past customers?
Only to those who agreed to receive them. Canada's anti-spam law expects senders to have, and be able to prove, consent for commercial texts and emails. We sort your list by consent status and help you collect permission going forward.
Do you give legal advice on CASL or privacy?
No. We link to the CRTC, ISED and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and design programs around their published guidance. For advice on your specific situation, talk to a lawyer.
Do you service or inspect boilers?
No. Boiler.Management is a marketing and business consulting service. We never install, service, inspect or repair equipment; your licensed team does all of that.
What reports will we get?
A one-page scorecard each month with booked tune-ups, new plan members, active members, renewal rate, reminder opt-outs and revenue per member. Growth and Elite plans add weekly or real-time reporting.
Can you promise a renewal rate or a number of bookings?
No. Results depend on your price, your team, your market and your list. We set expectations together and report honestly against them.
Do we need new software?
Usually not. Most CRMs and field-service tools can handle reminders and renewals once set up properly. We only suggest a change when your current tool genuinely can't do the job.
Do you work with small boiler companies?
Yes. A two-truck company with a few hundred customers can benefit from a plan and reminders as much as a larger firm. The economics guide helps you check whether it is worth it for you.
Do you work outside British Columbia?
Yes. We are based in Vancouver and work with boiler companies in every province and territory.
Price and terms
Short answer: plans from $2,998 a month, websites from $3,500, no lock-in.
The three managed plans and three website packages are listed in full on our pricing page, with what each includes. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and boiler companies add GST or HST at their province's rate. Every engagement begins with a free 7-day review of your marketing, website speed, search visibility and local competitors, and you don't need a credit card for it.
What makes one boiler company's program cost more than another's is usually the state of the customer list, whether a plan exists yet, and how many channels you want running. The pricing page explains each of these.
Consent, privacy and reminders
Short answer: reminders go only to existing customers who agreed to receive them, and we design around official guidance rather than giving legal advice.
This is the question we take most seriously. A boiler company's customer list is built over years, and a careless campaign can damage trust quickly. The CRTC's guidance describes the general expectations for commercial electronic messages: consent, sender identification and a working unsubscribe. We tag every contact by the permission you can show, write opt-in wording for invoices and plan sign-ups, and make opting out simple. Our reminder sequences guide explains the process step by step.
Timeline: what the first three months look like
Short answer: month one is data and decisions, month two is building, and month three is the first live reminders or launch.
In the first month we review your customer list, agree on consent rules and, if you need one, settle what your plan includes and costs. In the second month we write the plan page, scripts and messages and set them up inside your software. By the third month the first small batch of reminders goes out, or the plan launches to consenting customers, and the first scorecard arrives. If your season is close, we reorder the work so a tune-up campaign runs first and the deeper clean-up follows once the rush has passed.
If you have already been burned by an agency, this is also the stretch where you will know whether we are different: you will see booked visits and sign-ups, not impressions.
Ownership and working together
Short answer: you own everything, and you work with a senior strategist from the start.
Your website, domain, ad accounts, CRM and customer data stay in your company's name. We are invited users and can be removed at any time. You speak with a senior strategist, and Ali Sedighi leads the strategy on every engagement; see the about page for his background.
Your office stays in charge of customer relationships. We write the messages, set up the timing and build the call lists; your team answers replies, books visits and makes any phone calls.
Results and reporting
Short answer: we report a small set of numbers monthly and never promise outcomes.
Our published results come from live boiler and heating websites, such as CombiBoiler.ca, whose 300+ monthly leads show how much demand a boiler-focused site can capture. Those are new-customer results. The results page explains what carries over to a maintenance-plan program and what doesn't. Once your program is running, the monthly scorecard shows booked tune-ups, sign-ups, renewals and opt-outs, so you can judge the work yourself.
Still deciding?
Short answer: the free review is the easiest way to find out whether we are a fit.
If you would like to understand your own numbers first, start with the plan economics guide. When you are ready, the contact page explains what to include in your first message so we can be useful from the first reply.
